Our Area

Surrounded by ocean, bay and Bouddi National Park, the Killcare Peninsula is a largely undiscovered paradise.

Boasting seven unspoilt sandy beaches - Killcare Beach is patrolled, with the other beaches accessible only by foot or water. They include Lobster Beach, Tallow Beach and Maitland Bay, site of the historic shipwreck of the paddle steamer Maitland in 1898.

Just 900 metres over the hill from beautiful Killcare surf beach lies the tranquil Brisbane Water. Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach and Wagstaffe offer deepwater moorings and Wagstaffe is literally around the corner from Broken Bay, Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River. Whatever pastime you desire, whether active or passive, you will find it here on the Killcare peninsula. There are activities galore… fishing from the public jetties, boating and kayaking, tennis at Turo park, swimming, bushwalking, picnicking or enjoying a ferry ride. Indulge at the cafés and restaurants, wander through the galleries or pamper yourself with a beauty treatment and massage. Enjoy the local relaxed atmosphere... it is common to be greeted with a friendly smile by a complete stranger.

There are breathtaking views from many vantage points in the area, comparable to the best the world has to offer. The view from the Marie Byles lookout on the Scenic Road, looking down the coastline over Barrenjoey and the headlands to Sydney is spectacular and definitely worth a visit. The wildlife will captivate you, with a huge variety of birds and animals. Whale and dolphin sightings are common and you might be lucky to have penguins swim with you at the beach. Many examples of ancient aboriginal culture can also be found throughout the 1,532 hectares of National Park.

Killcare is under one hour from the Wahroonga end of the F3 or a picturesque 25 minute ferry ride from Palm Beach. Our friendly team offers a wealth of local knowledge to assist with your real estate needs. Come and experience the magic of Killcare.
